Watchmaker Mini Workbench

I’m just getting my feet wet in watch repair in pursuit of watch maker and besides my microscope, this little cabinet has proven to be (for me) an exceptional addition to my desk. Cabinet on one end and microscope on the other. I can easily switch between the two when I need to use a loupe. It’s not going win any awards for cabinet making. The drawers fit and cut is a little off here there, but they are deep and they slide in and out as needed. I was surprised at the amount of supplies and tools I can get into this thing. It has wooden drawer pulls and it was made in Vietnam. 100% for me.

Better quality than reviews elsewhere claim, but not high quality, but solid. Be careful where you plan to set it because most tables are probably too high. I ordered a rolling adjustable desk from amazon. It goes down to 23in and up to 35”. I plan on putting the mini on the portable desk and keeping it as one portable unit which I think will be an awesome portable watch repair/ tinkering station . I also have a battery powered work like which is perfect for the footprint of the mini.

It should serve its purpose very well. Small investment, truly portable. I can provide a picture when it’s all set up.
