This palm sized (5" x 3" x 1-½") plating machine weighs only ¾ lb (350 grams) yet delivers up to 10AMP intermittent power (8 AMP continuous) for the ability to plate up to 30 rings at a time.
The VM 10 AMP is not only a bath plater, but will do Brush plating* and Pen Plating**. It also has built in connections for doing touch ups and spot plating using a pen plating pen.
Special Introductory Offer: If you purchase the VM 10 AMP compact plating machine we will include at no charge the VM Platinum Anode Universal Plating Pen. We sell this pen separately for $39.95.

Proudly made in the USA
The VM 10 Amp unit is intermittent 10 Amps and continuous 8 Amps, it is one of the smallest (fits in your hand), lightest (approx. ¾ of a lb.) unit made. It takes up virtually no room on your workbench and fits in your drawer when not needed. The VM 10 Amp plater goes from 1.5 Volts dc to 12 Volts dc with a large digital display that reads both voltage and amperage. This unit has overcurrent, over voltage and short circuit protection built in to help insure long life. 110V/60c only at this time.
When you first turn on the 10 Amp Bath Plater it will take approximately 6-10 seconds to energize it. When it reads 1.5 Volts or higher, that means it is ready to plate.
*Brush plating, also called selective plating, is a portable electroplating technique. This method allows for the application of anodized coatings and electroplated deposits to specific areas of a part without using an immersion tank. It offers precision and flexibility, making it ideal for on-site repairs, touch-ups, or small-scale plating jobs. The process involves using a brush-like tool to apply the standard plating solution directly to the desired surface, enabling targeted metal deposition.
**Pen plating uses a special felt tip pen that delivers precise application of specially formulated pen plating solution. Pen plating is a popular and common way to do touch ups and decorative highlights using rhodium and gold plating solutions.
