The Swiss Made G-Torch, formerly called the Swiss Torch II, excels as a casting torch for the jeweler who wants to cast all types of jewelry metals including platinum. It also is used as a jewelers bench torch for repair work when used with the micro head. It is less expensive than the similar looking Swiss Torch but does not have the range of different heads suitable for bench work that the Swiss Torch offers. However, as a casting torch, the Swiss Made G-Torch II is truly superior, with 2 different casting heads that can melt a wide variety of jewelry alloys, including platinum, quickly and efficiently using propane and oxygen.

The
Small Casting Head is perfect for casting
gold, silver and other metals with similar casting temperatures. The specially designed casting head is rated at 27,000 kJ/h (26,000 BTU), more than enough heat for casting gold and silver. The torch body is 9-1/2" long, the melting torch head is 9-1/2' long. When assembled, the torch is 17-3/4" long.
Recommended gauge settings for maximum power output:
O2 (Oxygen) 58 PSI (4 bar)
P (Propane) 11.5 PSI ( 0.8 bar)
114.955 Large Casting Head
The
Large Casting Head is perfect for casting up to 50 DWT (2-1/2 Oz) of
Platinum. The specially designed casting head is rated at 38,000 kJ/h (36,000 BTU), allowing the casting of platinum with oxygen/propane instead of the more expensive oxygen/hydrogen mix. The outstanding melting power works great with melting
gold and silver too. The torch body is 9-1/2" long, the melting torch head is 10-3/4' long. When assembled, the torch is 19-1/2" long.
Recommended gauge settings for maximum power output:O2 (Oxygen) 72.5 PSI (5 bar)

114.960 Micro Head & 3 Tips
This is used as a repair torch. The three micro head tips have 0.9mm, 1.2mm and 1.6mm orifices. They are hypodermic tips that friction fit on the 360 degree rotating head. Recommended oxygen output setting can be set from 0.5 to 2.0 bar (7.5 psi to 30 psi), with a corresponding propane output of approximately half the oxygen output, 0.25 to 1.0 bar (3.8 psi to 15 psi). The Swiss Made G-Torch II body is 9-1/2" long. With the micro head attached and a micro tip extended straight out from the torch body, the total torch length is 13-1/2"
