Ready to use pre-mixed rhodium plating solution
Use these ready to use solutions to start a new rhodium plating bath. Everything you need is already contained in each bottle for you. Just pour the rhodium into a beaker or tank and you are ready to start plating. Superbrite rhodium produces a brilliant bright white finish that will amaze you. The results are a tarnish-resistant plating that will add shimmering elegance to all your fine jewelry. These bath solutions are used at room temperature to avoid fumes in the workplace and aid in evaporation due to heating conventional rhodium baths. You can plate rhodium directly over gold, platinum, palladium and nickel. When plating over silver or base metals it is best to have a pre-plate of nickel or palladium first. The baths have anti-burn technology which allows you to plate a various voltage for longer periods of time without burning your pieces. Plate at 4 volts, room temperature using a platinized titanium anode.
The half-pint size of Rhodium plating solution contains 1/2 gram of Rhodium. The pint size option of Rhodium plating solution contains 1 gram of Rhodium while the 1 quart option contains 2 grams of Rhodium.

Tech Tip
During my conversations with customers, I’ve noticed a common issue: many are using less than 500ml of plating solution, hoping to conserve it and make it last longer. However, smaller baths have the opposite effect.
Smaller baths contain less metal, which limits the plating process and could increase plating times. With a smaller volumes, less of the anode is submerged in the solution, reducing the current density, and potentially affecting the quality of the deposit. Larger baths contain more metal, which improves plating speed and reduces unnecessary metal waste. The higher current density of larger baths results in a smoother, more even finish.
Lower volume baths also tend to become contaminated more quickly, as drag-out into the solution becomes more pronounced. Larger baths are less prone to contamination, meaning you’ll use your solution for longer and get more value from each gram of metal.
If you want to increase the quality and efficiency of your plating, it’s time to switch to a larger bath.
