Argentium 940 PRO is made with copper and select deoxidizing elements. Produces durable, tarnish resistant castings with anti-oxidant and anti-firescale properties. The alloy is guaranteed to be at least 93.5% silver. Argentium 940 PRO casting grain is specifically engineered for investment casting with modern enclosed machines, but also performs well in open systems. Argentium 940 PRO silver has a 1670°F (910°C) melting point with a specific gravity of 10.3.
844-99 Fine Silver Casting Grain

This is Fine Silver casting grain. It is .999% pure silver, and is not alloyed with any other metal. Fine silver has a 1761°F (961°C) melting point with a specific gravity of 10.49. A cubic inch of sterling silver will weigh 5.525 troy ounces.

This very popular tarnish-resistant sterling silver casting grain (shot) will produce work that requires far less cleaning and goods that resist tarnishing far longer than standard sterling silver. It is alloyed with copper and special deoxidizing agents to help resist tarnishing and fire scale. Sterling silver has a 1645°F (896°C) melting point with a specific gravity of 10.36. A cubic inch of sterling silver will weigh 5.457 troy ounces. This product is similar to Argentium® Silver in that it will resist tarnishing far longer than regular sterling silver. No silver alloy is 100% non tarnish.
