Way too small

I gave been searching for clamshell bead tips for nearly a year. Every single time I find some theh are way too small to accommodate the crimp beads that are necessary to finish a piece, and these are no exception. It's incredibly frustrating. I'm not sure why these are even sold ANYWHERE because there's no way I can see they can be used. Back they go, and the search continues. I have at least four necklaces that I can't finish because of this issue. I am baffled as to where the ones I've used in the past can be found. I bought some from Amazon, they are incredibly flimsy and break everytime I close them. Rios are even SMALLER than these. Others don't have sterling, but silver plated. Rrrrrrr
