These made in the USA .061" (1.61mm) diameter screw posts are used to solder onto jewelry to be mounted on clothing using the matching button back. The button back has serrated edges to make a firm grip on the fabric on the back of a button hole.  The button backs also have coin edges to make for easy handling when screwing on or off.  The fusion style have a slight "nib" on the head that becomes the joining material when used with a fusion tacking machine. The nibs can be easily removed with a file or similar abrasive for tradition soldering or joining.
