Here is a new versatile rotating soldering platform that fits the popular 6" Solderite soldering boards as well as charcoal and magnesia blocks, all of which you can purchase separately.


Rotates a full 360 degrees for all around access.  You can even clamp a third hand onto to the edge of the platform to make your own soldering station.


Also sold complete with a 6" square soldering soldering board, see part number 154.012.

Measures 6-1/8" by 6-1/8" by 1-5/8".  Made in Pakistan for Eurotool.

Poor quality rotating platform

I was really hoping to love this platform but unfortunately it’s lacking. The rotation mechanism is grainy and a lot of force needs to be applied for it to rotate, it also doesn’t stop when you need it to and instead unwinds back a bit. The platform itself is on a tilt for some reason. The center screw that attaches the platform to the base unscrews and then the platform rotates there as well, which isn’t the design element, so I unscrewed it a bit and I’m using that to rotate the platform. I will also try oiling the bearings to see if I can improve the rotation of the base. Also there is a gap between the edge of the platform and the soldering board, which can make the solderite board wiggle especially since it’s loose on the platform, so I hammered in the edges of the platform a bit to hold the soldering board firmly.
