This professional polishing kit contains top quality polishing buffs, aids and compounds used to bring jewelry alloys like gold, silver and platinum to a high polish. The tripoli compound is what professional jewelry polishers use for cutting down metal to remove scratches. It is an aggressive compound that is used for rapidly removing material while leaving behind a smooth surface ready for using polishing compounds like the fabulustre or the green rouge. A bar of Picasso Blue platinum polishing compound is supplied to be used for bringing platinum to a high shine. The green rouge will also work well as a final polish for platinum. Be sure not to mix polishing compounds on a buff-one buff-one polishing compound!
