The digital Paragon TNFJ141 Kiln is a large capacity kiln with a 13" x 13" x 9" chamber for burning out more and larger flasks. It is the same kiln as our Paragon Express Large Burnout Kiln 122.110 except this kiln has built in
12 Key Sentry 2.0 controller instead of the 3 key Sentry Express 4.0. The 12 Key Sentry 2.0 controller is the same controller found on the stand alone Paragon programmers 122.117.*The kiln is made of ceramic fiber for fast heating and cooling. The digital controller yields consistent quality burnouts. It is a real time-saver. Set the controller and spend your time working on jewelry instead of monitoring the kiln. This TNFJ141 operates on 120 Volts and requires a 20AMP dedicated outlet . Maximum temperature is 1700°F.
Firing chamber is a one-piece ceramic fiber shell with internal dimensions of 13" wide by 13" deep by 9" high. The elements are embedded in the ceramic fiber. For greater thermal efficiency, the space between the steel case and the ceramic fiber shell is filled with extra ceramic fiber insulation.
This unit comes with a vent hole and steel cover in the door. The door seals tightly with a heavy spring latch. The controls, located in the base, stay cool for long life. No extra stand needed.

*Why choose a 12-Key 2.0 vs the 3-Key 4.0 Sentry? It's mostly a matter of what you are use to using. Both controllers deliver outstanding burnouts with multiple stored programs. The 12-Key 2.0 was most recently updated in 2010 and thousands are in use. It allows for more custom variables in burnout programming. If you are familiar to using a 12-Key 2.0, this kiln is for you. The 3-Key 4.0 is more recent and was designed to be simpler to operate and less expensive to build.
