Basic Ultrasonic Tips:

• Always fill the tank to maximum capacity
• Always use ultrasonic cleaning solution
• Always use a basket or suspend items in the ultrasonic bath.
• Never place items directly on the bottom of the tank.
• Warm to hot solution cleans better than cold.  Let the unit warm up before use.
• Run the unit a few minutes before use to allow for de-gassing the solution.
• Keep your ultrasonic and the surrounding area clean

Check your ultrasonic bath daily.  It is good practice to start each day with a fresh ultrasonic bath. If you use OttoSonic Ultrasonic Cleaning Solution you can start each day by pouring out the top of the previous day's solution and save that for re-use.  Discard the bottom of the solution which by now should be where the dirt and grime has settled overnight.  Use a strainer to catch any gems and valuables that might be at the bottom.
