Nickel silver is an alloy of brass that contains mostly brass alloyed with a combination of nickel and zinc. There are many alloy formulas that are called nickel silver. This Nickel silver sheet is Nickel Alloy 752, which is 65% brass, 18% nickel and 17% zinc. It contains no elemental silver.

First developed in China and later mass produced in Germany, Nickel silver is also called German silver.

These nickel silver sheet metals are sold individually wrapped on cardboard. Sheets come straight from the mill and are not otherwise polished or finished in any way. Sheets can have natural surface discolorations that can be polished away.
