Nickel Silver Safety Catches-Top Opening Fusion Nib 4mm x 3mm - Packs of 12

Sold in Packs of 12, these top opening safety catches are for holding the tips of pinstems.  This version has a fusion "nib", so they can be fused on using a fusion machine with the proper holding jig.  The nib can be easily filed away for a flush solder fit.  Made of nickel silver, which contains mostly nickel and no silver at all.

This nickel silver open top safety catches measure 4mm tall by 3mm diameter at the rounded base.

\To ensure proper functioning of catches after soldering, enameling, and final pickling or bright dipping and before turning, boil in water with a little soap and ammonia added.  Dry without washing.  After plating, if catches bind, apply liquid wax in slot with pin.
