These 12 mm Diameter Military Clutches are made in the USA by the same factory on the same machines that have been making these clutches for generations.  These clutch back grip fasteners are used with grooved pinched posts that are 1.15 mm (.045") in diameter. These tiny mechanical clutches hold onto the posts securely and are released when the 2 levers are pinched together. Small raised treads on the back of the clutches help locate the clutch and pin against the fabric to keep the pins from rotating. Available in nickel plated brass or gold plated brass.
