Meiji EMZ-10 Auxiliary Lenses-0.4x, 0.5x & 0.75x

Meiji EMZ-10 have different optics than EMZ5 and use different auxiliary lenses.  While the mountings are the same, if you aren't using the correct auxiliary lens for your EMZ-10 or EMZ-5, you will have different working distances than you expect and less than optimal focus.

The EMZ-10 has more working distance compared to an EMZ-5 when both scopes are used without auxiliary lenses. We always recommend the use of auxiliary lenses for jewelry work with a EMZ5, but most jewelers are comfortable with the working distance the EMZ-10 gives without the use of an auxiliary lens, especially when a EMZ-10 is used with a Jura Microscope Mount.


*Using these auxiliary lenses reduces the magnification of an EMZ-10 by these factors while increasing the focal length.  You will a reduction in maximum magnification but an increase in  working distance.
