Ferris® File-A-Wax® Orange (formerly known as Wizard Wax) is an industrial-grade milling wax engineered specifically for use with modern CNC milling machines, including 5-axis machines. This large 12" x 3" x 3" block provides generous material for ambitious milling projects and extended production runs.

Formulated to withstand the high spindle speeds of contemporary milling equipment, this wax delivers a superior surface finish straight off the machine. It is harder than Ferris green carving wax, yet retains enough toughness to resist brittleness—allowing you to mill the finest details with confidence and minimal risk of breakage. The wax also remains fully compatible with standard burnout processes, making it a reliable choice for lost-wax casting workflows.
