Keiba Power Max full flush compound cutters are perhaps the strongest and most reliable flush cutter we sell.  These are the "big boys" that get the job done.  Of course they are big boys, so they can't reach everywhere smaller flush cutters can, but they are very reliable and robust, as they are built for repetitive cutting applications like cutting casting sprues all day long  The Keiba Power Max cutters offer the finest in compound leverage construction at an affordable price. Leverage combined with an induction-hardened, high grade steel jaw allows for extra close cutting. The handles are shaped to be ergonomically efficient and to prevent fatigue and possible injuries which can sometimes accompany hours of cutting. Power Max cutters can cut up to 12 gauge (2.3 mm) soft copper wire.  Made in Japan.

A real workhorse - perfect for sprues and thicker gauge wire.

I highly recommend this. I purchased to cut sprues when casting and it works so well. I use it for cutting thick gauge wire too. I purchased this 12 years ago and still working perfectly.
