This handy tool is designed for reducing soft chain or woven chain.  made of hard boxwood with smooth holes, simply pull the material through consecutively smaller holes reducing the size of the chain.  One one side of the block the holes are slightly chamfered to help pulling the wire through.  You can put the tang of the block in a vise or hold it by hand.  Twelve holes ranging in size from 1.2 mm to 6.5 mm.  Measures 3-1/2" by 2-1/2" by 3/4" thick.
