Glardon-Vallorbe LO0402-HSS Round Traditional Gravers-0.20mm to 1.60mm

Glardon Vallorbe makes many different Round Gravers in High Speed Steel (HSS) and Carbon Steel. These are the Glardon-Vallorbe LO0402 HSS traditional gravers that will require shaping and fitting into a handle before use. High Speed Steel is harder than carbon steel and will hold an edge longer and require less sharpening when working with most metals. These Swiss Made HSS gravers are recognized as the best quality jewelers engravers on the market and are identified by the Fish trademark and the brand name Glardon-Vallorbe Swiss Made. 

The Swiss sizing is done by the 1/10 mm. USA sizing is also given when available. These Swiss Made High Speed Steel (HSS) traditional gravers are 100mm long (65mm useable shape with 35mm tang).  The professionals choice for generations. 

Glardon-Vallorbe Swiss Made Gravers are made by Usines Metallurgiques de Vallorbe SA (UMV) of Vallorbe Switzerland. Previously branded as Grobet gravers in the USA, since 2015 these gravers are now being sold under the factory brand name Glardon-Vallorbe, the same brand name used throughout the rest of the world. Jewelers and stonesetters everywhere appreciate the consistent quality and perfect temper of these precision made gravers.

The factory does not produce size 14 (1.40mm), size 18 (1.80mm) and size 24 (2.40mm) in High Speed Steel. 

Suitable for use with all types of metals, wood, bone, ivory and onyx. Used by engravers, stone setters, die sinkers, jewelers and watchmakers. Many of the gravers are marked with both the USA graver number and the Swiss graver number.
