Foredom M.SR Motor: The 1/6HP, ball bearing SR Series Motor runs up to 18,000 RPM with all the power needed to accomplish almost any job on nearly any material without stalling or slowing down while under normal load.
Reversible: Having the ability to run the motor in reverse has several advantages:
- Left handed users have more control of the cutting tools when in reverse
- Reverse helps to keep dust and debris flying away from right handed users
- Alternating motor direction helps to extend the life of certain abrasives
- Reverse helps with symmetrical grinding and carving techniques
- Reverse makes it easier to back out drill bits that are stuck
- Alternating motor direction makes it easier and faster to polish metals
Caution: When using screw top mandrels with unmounted polishing wheels, the reverse feature may unscrew the mandrel screw that holds the unmounted wheel onto the mandrel. Use only pre-mounted polishing wheels that are permanently mounted on mandrels when using the reverse feature.

The Foredom C.FCT Foot Speed Control: Foredom makes a top quality foot operated speed control with a distinctive wide profile that makes it easy to find beneath your bench. The Foredom FCT Foot Control is made with a tough high-impact plastic housing and has non-skid pads on the bottom so it doesn't move while in use. The FCT provides smooth control throughout the entire speed range. Available Separately
The H.44T Handpiece: The Foredom H.44T is similar to the popular H.30 handpiece but uses collets instead of an adjustable Jacobs chuck. The Foredom H.44T allows you to use shanks up to 1/4" in diameter. Newly redesigned with a slightly tapered nose for a more comfortable grip. Supplied with three collets, 3/32" (2.35mm), 1/8" (3.18mm) and 1/4" (6.4mm) pin and chuck wrench. Other collets are available separately. These collets are also used in the Foredom H.44HT handpiece. 5-3/8" long, 1" diameter tapering to 3/4" at its end. Available Separately
AKWK53 26 Piece Accessory Kit: The AKWK53 contains some of our latest and most unique accessories for use on wood: Scotch-Brite Radial Bristle Discs from 3M, V StoneTM Abrasives, CeramCut Blue® Stones, Purple Ceramic Sanding Bands from 3M, and Typhoon® Carbide Burs. Also plated diamond point, steel cutters and burs, aluminum oxide points, and 3 mandrels. 3/32", 1/8", 1/4" shanks. Rotary bur and tool holder also included. 20,000 RPM Max Speed.
