Similar to the MaxDetail, Eschenbach of Germany incredibly successful binocular magnifiers, the new MaxDetail Clip allows eyeglass wearers a comfortable lightweight alternative to fixed frame optics.

The MaxDetail Clip is a lightweight binocular magnifier that clips onto your eyeglasses to give you 2 x magnification at a very comfortable 15” focal distance. This relatively high magnification at such a work friendly distance is achieved through the use of the MaxDetail Clip double lens Galilean optics. Single lens clip-ons and headband magnifiers are limited by the laws of optics to fixed ratios of magnifications to distance, sacrificing increased magnification to shorter working distances. With the MaxDetail Clip, you get a lightweight less obtrusive product that delivers a wide 3-3/8” field of view at a respectable 2x magnification while keeping you focus at a comfortable to work with 15” distance.

Since the MaxDetail Clip attaches to your prescription eyeglasses, there is no need to adjust the individual lenses as in eyeglass frame regular MaxDetails, so the lenses are fixed in the MaxDetail Clip. The MaxDetail Clip can be adjusted up and down with set screws to center the lenses to your liking. While in use you can see around the lenses, similar to wearing progressive eyeglasses, and of course, the MaxDetail Clip can be flipped up completely out of the way when not needed.
