EarthCoat Nickel Mirror™ plates a consistent, uniform nickel deposit that is easy to operate and maintain. It produces a brilliantly bright, mirror-like finish—transforming dull surfaces in about 10–15 minutes, or in ~3 minutes when used over Copper Mirror™. As a pre-plate, Nickel Mirror™ enhances and brightens subsequent rhodium, gold, and silver plating.

Typical Use

Substrate Prep Clean and activate per your standard process
As a Pre-Plate Apply a thin, bright nickel layer to enhance subsequent precious-metal plating
Deposit Appearance Bright white, highly reflective nickel
Time to Brightness ~10–15 minutes (dull surfaces); ~3 minutes over Copper Mirror™

Applications

  • Jewelry components prior to rhodium, gold, or silver plating
  • Uniform bright nickel finish on base metals

  • For best results, ensure parts are thoroughly cleaned and activated before plating.
  • Rinse thoroughly between process steps to prevent contamination.
