Dumont Pattern No. 2 Tweezers

Genuine Dumont Swiss Made No. 2 Tweezers-Choose from 5 different grade/metal combinations.  See below for grade information:

No. 2 Tweezers: General use tweezers, with sturdier points slightly wider and thicker tips than the Pattern No. 1 tweezers.  Indented and have flat edges for gripping object with tip or side.  The plain finished points have a fine tip.  Overall length 4-3/4" (120mm).  Tips are 0.34mm wide by 0.14mm thick.

The High Precision (HP) line of Dumont Tweezers has extensive hand finishing, and is considered Dumont's finest quality grade of tweezers.  These are the tweezers that the finest watchmakers in the world use. 

Dumont Electronic Quality (EQ) Stainless Steel Tweezers from Switzerland. With less hand finishing than High-Precision tweezers, electronic quality tweezers are made for assembly work.  EQ quality tweezers are an excellent choice for everyday use.

• 157.208  Dumont HP Carbon #2 - For high strength and durability
  • Carbon Steel is the strongest of the metals used to make Dumont Tweezers. Carbon steel will rust, so care must be taken to protect carbon steel tweezers in use and storage. Store carbon steel tweezers with a light coating of oil, or under a protective lightly oiled cloth. Carbon Steel is also magnetic. With proper care, carbon steel tweezers will hold an edge and stay sharp longer than stainless steel tweezers.  
• 157.209  Dumont HP Stainless #2 Inox - For strength and corrosion or acid resistant
  • Stainless Steel (Dumont INOX) is the most popular metal choice for Dumont Tweezers. Although not as strong as carbon steel, stainless steel resists rusting while still delivering a long lasting edge. 
• 157.211  Dumont HP Dumostar #2
  • Dumostar The Dumostar line of tweezers from Dumont are made of a special super-hard* alloy that has been hardened to a minimum Rockwell 61. With careful use the Dumostar tweezers will keep their points almost indefinitely. Dumostar tweezers are magnetic-resistant (anti-magnetic), and acid and rust resistant.
