14KW Dress Shirt Popgun Stud Backs - Unassembled

Sold by the piece.  If you buy one piece of this part number you will receive one each of the four components that make up one of these studs (sleeve, spring, barrel and stem).
Complete dress shirt popgun stud back but unassembled. 

This is the "old school" way to purchase popgun dress studs so you may solder the barrel to the jewelry then assemble the components.  Popgun stud backs are the classic American made stud findings used for dress shirt studs.

Assembly of Popgun Stud Back Components with torch:
 

• Insert blunt end of stem into long end of barrel leaving point of stem exposed.
• Slide spring on to blunt end of stem now in barrel, sliding spring into the barrel.
• Apply soft solder paste of liquid flux and a small plug of tin solder to open end of sleeve.
• Slide sleeve over stud stem and apply necessary heat being careful to avoid overheating and damage to spring.
