These high quality 80mm (True length is 3-1/8") carbide tip jewelers dividers from Asic are made in Poland.  Jewelers dividers are for measuring distances between points and transferring that distance to another piece of metal as well as scribing circles or arcs. Also called a compass gauge. The carbide tips are extremely sharp and strong and make for effortless marking on all kinds of metals.  They will last a lifetime marking precious metals like gold and platinum.  The carbide tips are permanently mounted into the tool steel body.
