Diamond Scribe Pen

This attractive diamond tipped scriber has a retractable tip and looks like a writing pen. Use it as a traditional scriber for marking on metals or as a simple tool for doing diamond identification. Simply rotate the body of the pen to extend or retract the tip.  Pen is 5-3/4" long.

An easy to use tool to find out if a stone is a diamond.  If the stone you scribe with this tool scratches, that is a clear indication that the stone is not a diamond.  

Note: This is a destructive test!  Only use this tool if you don't care if you scratch a stone.

Note: This pen does not differentiate between natural diamonds and lab grown diamonds.  It also does not differentiate between diamonds and Moissinite.  It only tells you that if the stone scratches with this pen that the stone is not a diamond.
