These heavyweight plain lever backs with open rings have set rivets-that means they are ready to use and not recommend for soldering unless you remove the rivet and re-assemble and reset rivets after soldering. Lever backs require a bit of lubrication to work properly. Be sure to place the tiny bit of oil on the moving parts during use, and especially after cleaning in an ultrasonic.
