Los martillos de aplanar estacionarios, también llamados martillos de aplanar estacionarios o martillos de aplanar grandes, son excelentes para enderezar y reparar rápidamente láminas de metal o casi cualquier otra cosa que desee alisar perfectamente. Simplemente coloque un artículo sobre la mesa plana y presione hacia abajo el martillo con resorte.

Las platinas están endurecidas a Rockwell 60, lo que las hace adecuadas para aplanar aleaciones de metales blandos no ferrosos de cobre, latón, plata y oro. También puede aplanar metales más duros, pero tenga cuidado: los metales que son más duros que las platinas pueden dañar las platinas.

Nice but very expensive

I almost did not purchase this item due to the high price for such a simple tool. I had several uses in mind for it and took the plunge. Well, it is rather heavy. It is very well made. It looks great. But most of all, it works perfectly and has uses beyond straightening bent metals. I am a big fan of the Italian made tooling from Otto Frei. I regularly use the heavy drawplates for items that I make. For the 2' long drawings, I machined a roller set to straighten things. This planishing hammer quickly allows me to fine the needed straightness. The planishing hammer works perfectly. Another use for it is in very slightly "expanding" gears which were cut a tad undersize. This planishing hammer expands the gears and work hardens them in the process. It can also be effectively used to set rivets. I have a few additional uses in mind for the tool related to fold forming. If you can afford it, you will like it and use it.
