Fretz RH-DL Repouse Holder with 7 Inserts

The Repousse Holder Fretz model RH-DL is used to avoid kinking bracelets or other curved pieces as it allows you to easily access areas that would otherwise be very difficult or impossible to reach with a hammer or chasing tool.

It is basically a snarling tool that you use by hand. When you buy it complete like this kit, it comes with 7 different inserts that you can now use to form raised surfaces from the inside of bracelets and other shapes.

The tool is used with pitch and a pitch bowl for supporting your work, for example lets say a bracelet that you want to raise from the inside. Choose the insert you want to use and attach it to the insert end of the RH. You then hold the tool in your hand by using the knob to position the insert tool where you want it inside your bracelet. You then hit the opposite end of the tool to the insert end with a hammer. The RH holder transfers the blow to the inside of the bracelet, giving you the access you need to form and shape from the inside of your bracelet.

The inserts are the same as use on the MKR-7 maker hammer, so the RH holder can also be purchased without the inserts in case you already own a MKR-7 hammer. The curved inset ends form delicate flutes or raised areas from the inside.
